‘Ompong’ damage to roads now at P2.3B; many still impassable – DPWH

The cost of the damage that Typhoon Ompong (internationally known as Mangkhut ) caused on the country s roads and bridges has already reached to close to P2.3 billion, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) said on Wednesday. To date, 30 road sections, mostly in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), remain closed to traffic as clearing operations were still ongoing.
