Two moderate quakes hit Davao Occidental

DAVAO CITY---Two moderate quakes hit Davao Occidental early on Sunday, state seismologists said. The stronger of the temblors, a magnitude-5.4, occurred around 2:51 a.m. with a depth of 47 kilometers, its epicenter traced some 185 kilometers east of Sarangani s coast, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
