‘Tax revolt’ vs Train kicks off

Militant groups staged a tax revolt on Monday by holding simultaneous rallies at public markets in Metro Manila to protest the Duterte administration s Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (Train) Act. To kick off the mass actions, members of Bayan, Gabriela and Kilusang Mayo Uno compared the prices of basic goods before and after the implementation of the Train Act at Trabajo Market in Sampaloc, Manila.
