Filipino boxing Olympian Cantancio dies in motorcycle accident

Former national boxing coach and two-time Olympian Leopoldo Cantancio died in a motorcycle accidenton Fridaynight. He was 54. Cantancio, who finished tied for 5th in the men s lightweight division of the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics, was driving home to Bago City from Bacolod where he coached a team in the Panaad Boxing Tournament. Philippine Olympic Committee president Ricky Vargas, also president of the Association of Boxing Alliances in the Philippines, expressed his sympathies to Cantancio s family. Cantan
