Magnitude 4.6 quake jolts Agusan del Norte

A magnitude 4.6 earthquake hit Agusan del Norte on Sunday afternoon, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said. Phivolcs said the earthquake struck west of Tubay, Agusan del Norte at 5:51 p.m. It had a depth of 5 kilometers and had a tectonic origin. Intensity II was felt in Surigao City, which experienced a magnitude 4.2 quake earlier in the day at around 2:49 p.m..
