Severe Tropical Storm Uwan is expected to unleash intense to torrential rains, powerful winds and widespread coastal flooding nationwide as it moves closer to the Philippine landmass, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) warned yesterday.
